Its extra hard shell makes it fine for marketing as it will stand up better than most varieties. Deeply ribbed, covered with grayish yellow rope-like netting except for the distinct stripes. Skin is a beautiful yellow, flesh is medium grain, red salmon in color, and the sweet, tasty flavor calls for more.
