72 Days | AAS A plump edible pod pea, this pea is both shell and sugar pod (snow pea) all in one. Fleshy, round pods are delicious eaten raw in salads. Cook lightly steamed or quickly stir fried in oil. Avoid over cooking. Strings will develop on older pods and should be stripped out. Slightly curved medium green color pods 21/2 – 31/2 inches long and about 1/2 inch diameter are best picked once peas have developed in their pod. Suited to freezing but not canning. Vines do well without support but produce best on a trellis or fence. Withstands both high and low temperature. Pods in 100 to 150 days when Fall planted in warm climates. Tolerant to Common Wilt Race 1.Packet contains about 50 grams of seed. Plus shipping items will include postage depending on size of the order.
