The French use dill for flavoring preserves, cakes and pastry. For these purposes it is of too strong and pronounced a character to be relished by American palates. Description
55 Day | Annual, smaller than the Mammoth variety, Bouquet dill is 3′-4′ tall, and ready to harvest about 15 days before its larger cousin. Dark green, early maturing stems, with feathery leaves with a compact head. If you want a perennial dill patch, simply allow a few to mature and reseed themselves, since they will become more adapted to one space if given a chance.
