The French use dill for flavoring preserves, cakes and pastry. For these purposes it is of too strong and pronounced a character to be relished by American palates. 70 Days | Larger than the Bouquet variety, Mammoth dill grows typically 4 to 6 feet tall with large flowers clusters. Excellent used fresh or as a pickling spice. Produces up to 1 cup of seeds per head.
