Description

Cayuse Oats is a grain that is a quick growing green manure that will kill off any winter weeds and will hold soil with a mat of vegetation. A high yielding oat that can produce over 100 bushels per acre. The oats stay green into November and form a mulched bed for spring planting. The oat plant is an annual grass with kinds and varieties adapted either to fall planting and midsummer harvest or spring planting and late summer harvest. Cover Crops are sold in pound bags.
