Aster – Powderpuffs

Description

(HHA – 24 in.) The whole plant may be cut for a bouquet or long stemmed individual flowers are easily available as the stems branch from the base. Attractive blossoms have high crested centers of quilled petals, encircled by broad petals 3 to 3 1/2 inches across, in good range of colors including white, pink, rose, azure, scarlet, and lavender tones. Plant upright, 2 ft.; Wilt resistant. Dust with Marlate to control leaf hoppers that spread Aster Yellows. (Culture ABDE-F)
