Description
95 Days | White Sweet Corn | SU
This classic sweet corn is called a shoepeg or shoe peg because it doesn’t have clear rows of kernels. Developed in 1890 by S. D. Woodruff & Sons of Orange, Connecticut and can grow 2 8″ ears. While this corn will stay sweet and milky longer than most other heirloom corn, it should still be picked earlier than modern corn. Stalks grow 7′-8′ tall, and make good shade for more heat sensitive crops.
