Description
55 Days | Mild creamy white fleshed kohlrabi; when cooked has more delicate flavor than turnip. Edible bulb grows above the ground and should be eaten when young (about 2 to 2 1/2 inches across). Planting spaced every two weeks until July gives a continuous supply. The flavor is somewhere between a turnip and a mild cabbage, with a fine texture. These are delicious raw or cooked, roasted or in stir fries. May be grown outdoors or under glass and is suitable for freezing.
