Very nice dual purpose turnip. Eat the globes when young and mild for best flavor, while the tops, growing to almost 2′ tall, make tender and mild greens. Asian white turnip which can grow to 4″, over the size of a softball. The white, well rounded roots have a lovely mild flavor that becomes stronger as it matures. Unlike most turnips, this variety enjoys the heat and will grow very well in hot dry climates.
