Description
95 Days | This classic sweet corn is called a shoepeg because it doesn’t have clear rows of kernels. Developed in 1890 by S. D. Woodruff & Sons of Orange, Connecticut and can grow 2 8″ ears. While this corn will stay sweet and milky longer than most other heirloom corn, it should still be picked earlier than modern corn. Stalks grow 7′-8′ tall, and make good shade for more heat sensitive crops.
Packets contain over 100 seeds, while our jumbo packets contain as much as 250 seeds for larger home gardens.
