This Connecticut heirloom was named after the town of Southport and dates to 1912 in our own catalog. If harvested early, a great small pearl onion for pickles or as a scallion as early as 70 days, but if you let grow it becomes a sweet white onion for salads and cooking. Tolerates cooler weather.
