85 Days | Yellow Shipper was developed by Burrell Seeds, and added to our catalog in 1995. Tough rind is dark green with light green stripes that run from the blossom to stem end. Oblong fruit are uniform, averaging 13-20 pounds. Yellow Shipper is ideal for shipping in bins. Flesh is yellow, crisp, sweet and full of flavor. Has some tolerance to Wilt and Anthracnose.
Yellow Shipper or Daisy Shipper is one of three yellow fleshed watermelon we carry, with Tendergold and Desert King, these watermelon are good sources of beta-carotene, as well as the benefits found in most watermelons like good sources of water and collagen.
